Small actions can build a better tomorrow.

In 2005 Gaurav Trivedi began his journey with a small corporate job and later spent 12+ years helping families find homes through Ghar Kar. In 2024 his purpose changed after spending 21 days in Chakulia and learning how Gobar and Gau Mutra can become valuable rural resources. This experience led to the launch of Ghar Kar Foundation in 2026 with a Gram Vikas direction beginning in Jawhar / Mokhada. The larger purpose is to create local livelihoods that support reverse migration and give people a reason to return home.
“Ek aisa gaon, jahan 3 Maa khush rahe — Apni Maa, Gau Maa, Prakriti Maa.” Our mission is to establish a self-sustaining prototype village by March 2028, connecting women’s empowerment, cow-based enterprises and ecological restoration to create sustainable livelihoods and help youth build their futures in their own villages.
To develop a Gram Vikas prototype by March 2028 that provides a blueprint capable of scaling across six lakh villages of Bharat. Through thriving communities, restored ecosystems and compassionate care for living beings, we aspire to contribute to Bharat’s revival as the Golden Sparrow by 2047, the centenary of Independence.

We support the development of safer shelter environments where animals and birds can receive protection, water, shade and responsible care. Through ethical Gaushala practices and connected environmental solutions, we aim to create spaces where animal welfare grows together with sustainable resource management.
We connect composting, suitable biogas solutions, responsible farming and community participation to create practical systems that help villages use local resources effectively. By involving farmers, Gaushala workers and communities, Gram Vikas aims to encourage sustainable rural progress.

We study the requirements of animals, birds, communities, land and available natural resources before planning an initiative.

Every solution is planned according to local space, water availability, environmental conditions and community participation.

We work with gaushalas, farmers, volunteers, specialists and local communities to implement practical field activities.

Completed activities will be documented through photographs, project records, progress updates and measurable results.

After helping over 2,500 families achieve their dream homes through Ghar Kar, I witnessed a troubling reality. Rapid urbanization was depleting groundwater levels, and local birds and animals were struggling to survive without shelter. I realized that human prosperity cannot be built on environmental destruction. In 2024, I decided that the promise of "Ghar Kar" must extend to our displaced wildlife. To turn this empathy into impactful action, I completed an intensive grassroots residential course. There, I mastered essential ecological practices, including ethical Gau-Shala care (Gram Vikas), water harvesting, composting, and tree plantation. Ghar Kar Foundation is the result of this balanced vision. We are no longer just building walls; we are restoring ecosystems, conserving vital resources, and empowering rural communities. This mission is too large to walk alone. I invite you to join us in co-creating a world where humans, animals, and nature thrive together in harmony.
"Ghar Kar Foundation was born to prove that a village can truly prosper only when we heal the parched earth and protect the gentle and voiceless souls that walk upon it."
Gaurav is the architect and public voice of this movement. Drawing on the discipline and experience of his corporate years he ensures that every contribution is managed with transparency and accountability. His life is dedicated to developing and scaling this model across the 6 lakh villages of Bharat. His vision is to create a path of compassion and sustainable rural development that can contribute to Bharat becoming the Golden Sparrow by 2047. The year that marks 100 years of Independence.
A stronger Bharat begins with stronger villages. Our mission is to restore nature create livelihoods and build a future that brings people back home.
— Gaurav TrivediA journey that began with personal progress and evolved into a larger purpose for rural livelihoods nature restoration and reverse migration.
Gaurav Trivedi began his journey with a small corporate job and one belief in progress. This became the starting point of a much larger life journey.
Through Ghar Kar he spent more than 12 years helping thousands of families find homes in cities and believed this was his way of serving society.
A deeper question changed his direction. While homes were being built for people he began thinking about disappearing trees birds bees and struggling rural families.
He spent 21 days in Chakulia Village in Jharkhand as a learner. Living close to rural life helped him understand the possibilities hidden within village resources.
One important lesson was that Gobar and Gau Mutra should not simply be treated as waste. They can become useful resources for farming livelihoods and village enterprises.
Ghar Kar Foundation was born with a new purpose. The focus shifted towards dignity through local work and a connected approach to rural development.
The next chapter begins in Jawhar / Mokhada where the Foundation is developing its Gram Vikas direction with Self Help Groups and local village participation.
The larger purpose is reverse migration. The vision is to create villages with meaningful local livelihoods so that people have stronger reasons to stay and return home.

A charity organization is built on the belief that every individual deserves dignity, opportunity, and hope. It serves as a bridge between those who want to help and those who need support

Creating safer shelters for animals and birds with access to proper care, clean water, natural shade and healthier surroundings every day.

Supporting rainwater harvesting and tree plantation to recharge groundwater, expand green cover and restore the natural environmental balance.

Connecting compost, biogas, responsible farming and local participation to create lasting environmental and economic value for villages.
Our work is guided by three beliefs that connect livelihoods nature and long term village development.
When families have dignity and local livelihoods they are in a stronger position to protect the natural resources around them.
Soil water animals birds trees and people are connected. Village restoration becomes stronger when the whole ecosystem is cared for together.
Our responsibility does not stop at plantation. We focus on nurturing trees and supporting their survival over the long term.
